Publisher's Summary

In a sizzling new Argeneau novel from New York Times best-selling author Lynsay Sands, a gorgeous mortal encounters his greatest temptation....

For almost two centuries, Ildaria Garcia has been on the run, a trouble magnet with a knack for taking down bad guys. Lately, her vigilante tendencies have drawn unwelcome attention to her fellow Immortals. Forced to relocate, Ildaria is supposed to lay low in a new town. Instead, she quickly entangles herself with six and a half feet of muscular, tattooed trouble.

Joshua James Simpson Guiscard, a.k.a. G.G., knows a lot about Immortals - enough to make him wary. Yet from the moment Ildaria walks into his club, he feels desire stronger than anything he’s known. Accepting the fact that they might be life mates is disconcerting. But when her past catches up to them, G.G. faces a choice - confront his demons at last, or lose a passion that’s hot as hell.

Immortal angel

This is a great addition to the series with Elisabeta and Ferro. She was kidnapped as a child and he is an ancient but they are lifemates and learn to adjust to their lives while fighting the potential vampire invasion of the safe compound. Love the story and the narrator.

Not my favorite

I’ve been a fan of the Argeneau books for several years now, and I’ve generally always enjoyed them. But there’s something about this one that has really let me down. First, love triangles aren’t my favorite. I’m not a fan of Bricker’s or Raffaele’s books for this reason either. Also I love GG in the other books so I was excited that he was going to get his own lifemate, but... he acted like the giant child Juan compared him to. And Ildaria or Angelina, whatever her name is, just didn’t click for me. I don’t know. As much as I’ve always enjoyed this series, I think Lynsay might be running out of things to write about.

Boring, disappointed

I have enjoyed most of this series, but this just falls flat. The entire book is just a series of conversations....any action is short and rushed over. Talk, talk, talk... snooze. The "hero" is a guy with a giant green mohawk (gross) with a female sounding nickname and no guts or personality. What a wimp. No wonder there was no chemistry. The female lead is told that he is her lifemate, and she doesn't seem to care. He might die or not accept her....shrug, she will move on with her life. I really didn't care if they got together, and it didn't seem that they cared either. Had to struggle to finish this one.

Very Disappointing and A Waste

I was very disappointed and found this book a waste of my time and a ”credit“!! I have read many of Lynsay Sands books and I have always found something about them that I enjoyed but not this one, I could not make it past chapter 5 and I really, really tried. The book starts with a bang......sounding like it’s going to be one you just can’t put down. “BUT”...that was it...! I thought maybe the book didn’t download correctly, maybe the book had been entered incorrectly or something? Nooooooo...it was the most boring, poorly written thing I have read since DICK and JANE in the first grade. Don’t waste your time or money!

It’s bad

This book does not make since she is 200 years old and there is no way her past could of happened that long ago.

I’ve been waiting for it!

I was so excited to hear that GGs story was coming out. Most of that was me as a mom. If my child was mortal and I immortal, I would be constantly consumed with worry.
Ildaria was a character that I was intrigued by in previous books. She was so mysterious and kind and well, interesting... I wanted her to have her happily ever after (when I realized who she was- the gal from the pirate ship in Vampires Like it Hot)
Both of these characters are plagued with insecurities and they are allowing their past pains to decide their future happiness. To me, that past was something that made it easier for the other to understand.
I love them as a couple. I love GG as a person and I’m so happy they got their HEA.
Saw the twist coming. It’s okay to see twists coming, ya know? That doesn’t make it a bad thing. Something being predictable isn’t a bad thing it’s just a thing. Sometimes things just click and that makes them predictable. Or we know the World the stories exist in. So, don’t consider it a bad thing if you see something coming.

Lynsay Sands is excellent writer. I absolutely love this series. I wish I could create a world like her. Good narrator as well.

DEEP & HUMOROUS

I adore The Argeneau series 💘 Here Margarite Argeneau is up to her old tricks again but 'Knowing' Whom is Whose Lifemate & this time it's the Mortal who owns & runs the Immortal Club, where they all go to relax & get the special "drinks'that give them that special 'high' GG (Green Giant) - Joshua whose Mum & Stepfather are Immortal living back in London.
But its the Female Margaruite's seeing up & that's Ilagra Angelina who seems to be always getting caught helping Mortals especially female students during her night Collegeing.
We see the start of her young child life back in Punta Cana living with her Abuela (Grandmother) whom she was very close with until one night when she was attacked before she was 14 but she fought back & that's when her life changed & she becomes an Immortal.
Though some areas of her Young life was tortuous its from the night that things happened which was Pretty hilarious with Lynsay's discription of the situation & then the hilarious actions of their Lifemates First Matings....😢😂🤣🥰💥😴
