Love that the story is written from both perspectives. Would love to know where their story goes from here. Left me wondering a few things. But I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. Well worth the read/ listen. I love Lyndsay Sands writing style. Look forward to the next instalment of this series.

The narrator was great. I will say though she did the worst Scottish accent I've heard. It was a mix of Scottish and Irish and was cringeworthy lol. luckily the character wasn't in the book much. Perhaps a bit for research is needed if she needs to do another. Perhaps watch Outlander

Valerian loves golf and Natalie owns the golf course, but as he only plays at sunset she has never met him, until the day his buggy breaks down and someone tries to kill Natalie.
Natalie and her daughter Mia are trying to restart their lives after a tragic accident, but it appears someone wants them dead. Valerian has just realised she is his life mate and will do anything to protect her. After a discovery of the existence of immortals and many attempts on her life she has a big decision to make or is it too late?
Loved this story.

Do I really need to know how she walked from the counter, put the spoon down, lifted her arm, picked the spoon back up …. Blah blah blah. I’ve read most of the books in this series which I have really enjoyed, but I must say this one was full of fluff and not a lot of substance.
