Easy listening, thank you for making an Audible version Kate Deering! I often drive long distances and love listening to podcasts regarding Ray Peats work while driving, and though I have your book, i just find i retain a lot more info while listening.

How To Heal Your Metabolism goes against what we've been told our whole lives and you need to keep an open mind while reading/listening. But you'll have a lot of 'light bulb moments' where things will just make sense. Thank you for sharing your work and research in this easy to understand format Kate.

Fantastic book that is easy to digest and apply.

It challenged my current thoughts, but went into it with an open mind and am excited to apply the new info.

Def worth a read/listen

loved it, but a bit heavy on the technical terms. I will be re listening to this book because it just makes sense.

An eye opening read

Great Information

Didn't finish it. Fell out of alignment with better dietary advice I've had & use.

Not convinced

Thanks Kate for putting it simply, highlighting the most important data and explaining how it all relates. I buy less food now that I know what my metabolism needs. When I stick to Kate's advice on building meals, I find I am well fed, sometimes can't finish, my body feels stronger and wants to move. Alcohol sets me back but having oj certainly helps the liver process it. I feel better right away. All in all I feel great, less pain, I save money and waste less food.

Finally, some truth

Confusing when read in the context of current views. Advocating pulp free OJ (so deliberately no fibre but has sugar). Advocating adding sugar deliberately. Advocating eating something specific she recommends before bed. Milk is the best protein. I’m just confused.

Pretty much advocating everything that is counter to the current medical view

‘Ever seen a healthy looking vegan?’ She asks!!! Wow. She immediately undermines herself with such a ridiculous statement and I stopped listening.

Rude

I find it difficult to believe that her recommendations are healthy. I suggest you follow her advice with caution.
