Elijah Pallan has never been in an alpha position, but he knows the basics; his alpha, Christian Coreback has sent him on a mission to help the north Okanagan pack after their alpha went rogue and was shot and killed; the prior alpha, didn't even have a beta. While he struggles with trying to give order back to the defeated back, his wolf is crying out and he's not sure why.
Katelyn Monger is the daughter to Pierce Monger of the Okanagan west pack; aside from Christian Corebacks' wife and Luna, she's the only other she-wolf heard of. She had been sent to Chase Coreback to learn more about being a Luna; little did she know, her wolf had chosen someone for her. Upon returning to the west pack, her wolf tries pulling her in a different direction. As she tries to listen to her fathers' lessons, she tries to drown out the wolf. who's desperate to do other things that don't involve her father.
