I loved HWFM 1 and had to immediately reread it and could hardly wait for this one. Now I've got to wait until September for the next installment. I don't know how I'll manage!

Having said all that, this book was not up to the standard of the first one., and I was annoyed at the cliffhanger ending.

Shade is supposed to have a British accent, but the narrator does not give him one. The narrator need to work on pronunciations. Particularly of concern were the words scythe and invigilator, but there were others not quite as grating.

One of the better litrpg books series iv had the pleasure of coming across. Good story combined with a excellent narrator, highly recommend.

really loving this series, the story , proformance and humour is on point . I would add it to the must have list

The psychoanalysis of him and others does repeat itself word for word in book 1 and 2, which does get annoying.

The plot of the book 2 introduces someone new to this world again. which then repeats the explanations of all systems again. exactly like it was book 1.

Killing the pace of everything. Does this Author have the stamina for 10 books????

This is a really great addition to the series with more awesome and fun characters in the mix with what feel like real emotions. The story is a little bit too long in some places but overall It’s fine other than that it’ll hold your attention to the end with a nice little cliffhanger. The voices are great with a couple that shocked me with how different they were in the setting. Overall 15/15 get this book you won’t regret it

Loving the story so far, can get a little bogged down in places, but not a problem for me. The only problem I have is that it's chewing through my credits too quickly! 😁
