Anyone reading this that hasn't heard HWFWM yet, DO IT! just do it... it's amazing, funny, a tear jerker, exciting and saddening when you realise book 6 isn't on audible yet :( but so worth it!

I'm an Australian and a story heavily based in Australia is amazing. He Who Fights With Monsters is a fantastic series that is an enjoyable listen especially because of the Australian narrator. This particular book kept the tension high from the last one and is driving the series in a good direction. Can't wait to read the next book.

The story just keeps getting better with each book. After 5 books most stories get a bit tired. Not with this series. You just want more and it’s going to be hard to wait for the next instalment. The depth of characters is amazing. The characters and story together make great entertainment. The narrator is just perfect to deliver the story.

Travis has done a good job of not making Jason feel to over powered but also having the story progress. The story is not dark but light with good explanations about why things are happening.
If you have listened to other isekai I can recommend this one whole heartedly.
the biggest problem I have is that the whole series is not yet out.

Genuinely have loved this entire series! The Narrator especially. Fantastically written and great humor. The characters are lovable and the story itself sends you on a Rollercoaster of emotions. 10/10 👌.

An Excellent Introduction to the Genre.
I burnt through this series very rapidly. All 12 books in something like 3 weeks. Great world creation and magic system, complemented by great character banter and humour. Highly recommended.
