Publisher's Summary

Rebels build a secret base on Green World. Their plan is to attack Earth and retake all the planets the humans have conquered.

Hegemony starships gather to strike the Rebels first, but where is their base? As the fleets search, Earth warships trespass into Skay space, igniting a fresh border conflict between rival Galactics.

When James McGill stumbles onto the rebel camp, they’re forced to step up their plans. The world goes up in flames. Friends are permed and cities are destroyed as everything spins out of control.

This character and universe needs a conclusion pronto, the characters aren’t growing the story twists and world building seems out of juice just end this series, I love the series but quit beating a dead horse.

Great story once again

B V Larson has done it again with a great story, always so much twists and turns. I do hope good ole McGill gets a promotion out of all of this and put in over winslade.

Lacklustre

My first disappointment in this series. I am still trying to work out what Larson was aiming to leave us with…

not as interested in this one.

I had been looking forward to this instalment. i guess magils attitude has worn on me. after this betrayel i gueas it seems unrealistic that a character would not reconsider his part and not move on in some way. it left a bitter taste in my mouth and a feeling of wasted time. i believe i am now over this character, or as strange as it seems lost respect for how the character has been portrayed. It feels sloppy and just a cut and paste of previouse novels. very disapionted.
