Publisher's Summary

A mediocre start, but a good ending

Like in other books of the horus heresy, the story pointlessly gets pulled in the length and a lot of parts just appear like fillers.
The fight against the eldar is one big gloryfying of the space marines and make them luke invincible, especially fulgrim himself.
The fall of the legion to chaos appears irrelevant and just added in.
Fulgrim is a fool of a primarch.
Definetly not one of my favourite books of the horus heresy.
The ending then becomes better, but only because a lot of other legions get included. I hope the next book is better
