Tears, Laughter and everything in between
Wow, this was great. I loved getting a Wompa story. I felt sorry for the big furry guy. I self-help book that had me in stitches, and it was such a cute story. I really enjoyed There Is Always Another; in fact, it made me cry as Obi-Wan reflected on the failure of the Jedi Order and their treatment of Anakin. I also really liked Faith in an Old Friends; seeing L3's point of view was great. Overall, while I loved the vast majority of the stories in this anthology, some were quite average. But I really enjoyed this better than the previous From a Certain Point of View book. However, The Whills Strike Back gets my very excited scream and a standing ovation.

A let down compared to the first.
While the stories were all well written, it was filled with so many stories about characters who didn't even appear on screen, and we're uninteresting, while some characters who did appear on screen, such as Lobot, did not get their own story, and would have been more interesting.

Mixed Bag
This collection of short stories is a good addition to Episode V. Some are great, others - boring. Some are hilarious, others - sad. Some provide important insights to the original story, while others are of no relevance at all. There is a strong trend towards diversity and the boundaries are pushed way further than in Ross Kemp's Lords of the Sith. I would not recommend it to the youngest Star Wars fans.
The narrators are great, there is suitable background music and the usual sound effects. However, the lack of cooperation between the different stakeholders is disappointing. Male narrators perform Princess Lea, while female - Darth Vader.

Entertaining but nothing special.
In general this book is a collection of amusing stories with just a handful of them noteworthy. Certainly better than the previous "Star Wars From Certain Point of View", but most of the stories are lacklustre and add absolutely nothing of value to the Star Wars Universe. The performances are overall good, with just a few really bothersome due to exaggerated sound effects o irritating voice acting, especially the way the Ugnaughts squeal every time they talk in the story “Bespin Escape”.

The force is not strong with this one.
This collection invoked the ‘Tales from …’ series by Kevin J Anderson from the mid 90s. Sadly they’re not a patch on them. The stories are a very mixed bag that at best add nothing to the overarching narrative of The Empire Strikes Back and at worst actually start to taint some the characters and events from the film. The narration is mediocre at best, annoying at its worst. Not for me.

A variety of stories to dip in and out of..
I enjoy the Star Wars films but I'm also a gamer, and was looking for something a little different to the usual mainstream content that is currently popular.
This collection of short stories was ideal, as each wasn't too long and I could dip in and out of it alongside listening to other audiobooks. The stories center around the people you see in the films behind the main characters,or stood off to one side. Guards, dock workers and even animals are all represented and their lives and short story arcs add flesh and depth to the Star Wars universe.
The voice cast is generally good. There was only one story that I didn't like listening to as I didn't think the voice used for the characters fitted well. Sound effects are consistent with what we recognise from the films. Blasters sound like blasters, and TIE fighters have their signiature scream.
The stories are very varied. Rebel, Imperial or neither, the characters are bounty hunters, or Imperial fleet officers, on dust ball planets, asteroids and swamps. Do you know what happened on Cloud City after the Imperials took over? What about the origin story of Howlrunner? I do...
In summery, if you enjoyed reading the Star Wars books about Boba Fett, or what Luke and Leia did after the The Return of the Jedi, I would recommend this audiobook. The characters are complelling, the audio quality is good and it's a very easy listen.
