Publisher's Summary

Sergeant Arin Varga has a problem on her hands. She's supposed to be in charge of a squad of peacekeepers. That's something she would normally handle with ease, except that now her people are stuck in Earth's orbit on a doomed superfreighter.

To make things worse, they're being held hostage by a group of very threatening, very menacing silver-skinned Kordolians, who are insistent that all they want is safe passage to Earth to kill oversized insects.

One particular alien, who goes by the name of Rykal, seems be constantly getting inside her personal space. He isn't just threatening, he's friendly and threatening, and if Arin isn't careful, that could become a major problem.

Contains mature themes.

wow

this I think is the best action packed yet. tarak, zal and callan are awesome kordolians, but Ms Carven managed to bring yet again a different personality to the silver guys. Rykal is definately the harshest but his torment of his past is depicted more so than the other heroes in this series. he's tough as nails...holy moly is he....there's a line the heroine asks him and his response is not specific and I'm glad it wasn't as it is addressed late in the book.
I nearly let this one slide thinking it was going to be similar to Gia and
Callan, but was nothing like it....someone else stated in a review that you'd think you'd get bored....but Ms Carven is coming up with new ideas all in the same time frame but in different places.
I see she moves forward with Noa.
Jillian...hats off to you again. the only thing I found that nearly threw me was that Jillian pronounces Rykal as you would use the R and I in the word Rim...the male narrator in the 1st book pronounces Rykal as how you would say Rye....but they are 2 different characters speaking in the book so it's no different if we pronounced a name differently ourselves.....

Excellent

This is the continuing story of the people of Earth and the Kordolians, this particular story is about Sergeant Arin Varga a human and Rykal one of the silver skinned Kordolians and it is quite a hair raising ride, there is plenty of action and suspense in this story. When the two finally get together there is also plenty of extremely hot sexual interaction. These two are made for each other and they only have to overcome some very zealous humans who try to kill them both and the stupid bureaucracy that rules, guess it is just like reality on that point. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole.

Another great instalment

I keep thinking these Dark Planet books will have to become boring and repetitive, but I’m happy to be proven wrong. Each one is unique and filled with action and romance. Love it!
