Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Story
Hugh van Cuylenburg was a primary school teacher volunteering in northern India when he had a life-changing realisation: despite the underprivileged community the children were from, they were remarkably positive. By contrast, back in Australia Hugh knew that all too many children struggled with depression, social anxieties and mental illness. His own little sister had been ravaged by anorexia nervosa. How was it that young people he knew at home, who had food, shelter, friends and a loving family, struggled with their mental health, while these kids seemed so contented and resilient?

Publisher's Summary
Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Find Your Why by Simon Sinek, David Mead and Peter Docker, read by Stephen Shedletzky and with an introduction by the author.
Find Your Why is the follow up to Start with Why, the global best seller and the subject of the third most watched TED Talk of all time. With Start with Why, Simon Sinek inspired a movement to build a world in which the vast majority of us can feel safe while we are at work and fulfilled when we go home at night. Now, along with two of his colleagues, Peter Docker and David Mead, Sinek has created a guide to the most important step any business can take: finding your why.
This easy-to-follow guide starts with the search for your personal why, and then expands to helping your colleagues find your organization's why. With detailed instructions on every stage in the process, the book also answer common concerns, such as: What if my why sounds like my competitor's? Can you have more than one why? And, if my work doesn't match my why, what do I do? Whether you're an entry level or a CEO, whether your team is run by the founder or a recent hire, these simple steps will lead you on a path to a more fulfilling life and long-term success for you and your colleagues.

After reading this, I will put it with my “resource” material. This is a step by step manual. I would read “Start With Why” & “Leaders Eat Last” first. Then use this manual when you are ready to take actions. Very detailed.

Dug Deep
This book provides a good framework for digging deep into finding your why.
It is not a book which will tell your ideal job/career. It is a book about connecting with you and what makes you, you. Your why and what you believe in, your values and natural strengths.
I enjoyed working through the book and audio to reach my Why!

The perfect sequel to "start with why"
So many self help books are a bit vague. Opening up your mind to new possibilities but without any plan of attack to put them into action. This book is not one of those. It details a step by step process of the why discovery. I'm very excited to put these steps into action.

Would recommend this as a written book.
After listening to this, I think it would have been better for me to read the written version as there’s a lot of links and activities that needs to be done and personally I find it harder to having to rewind audio. In terms of narration, I’m not sure if Simon refers to himself in third person in the book but the narrator refers to him as “Simon Sinek” all the time , I would have preferred first person. Overall I think it’s a great book and everyone did a great job but in hindsight I think this would be better to read as a physical book.
