I’m so sad about this one. I loved the idea of wilderness firefighters, EMTS, stuck together in a storm…. but it didn’t quite stick. The spicy scenes were good, dirty talking MMC is great, but I didn’t feel the emotional connection between them. And my least favourite trope is miscommunication, and he was an ass to her during this time.
Feeling disappointed overall.

New to me narrators were brilliant. I loved the story with the adventure, suspense and spice and it was easy to follow. The supporting characters were great and I cannot wait to listen to book 2.

This is also my first book from this author. I am now looking for more of her books to add to my TBR list.

This was a fun read and I binged this in a day. However I was really disappointed in how rushed the ending was. It felt like the author ran out of steam and busted wanted to get to the finish.

I really enjoyed Fight. The slow burn made the story more intense and emotional. The characters had great chemistry, and the buildup felt real. It kept me hooked the whole way. A solid read!

Performance was great, storyline was great and I enjoyed the ending, I didn’t find it rushed but given the slow build can see how others might have wanted it to draw out further but then you’d be looking at a double sized book to get there, so I get it but still loved the book.

this was such a wild ride because i literally knew nothing except for the fact that it was about wild firefighters. the chemistry and tension between the two mc's was amazing and had be absolutely hooked. callahan was this serious golden retriever energy and a stubborn streak. i liked scottie because she was strong but still had a softness to her which made her easy to connect with. this book was chaotic in the best way, they were so addicted to each other and had so much baggage and a lot of delicious spice. the plot was absolutely wild and truly not what i was expecting from this book. the setting was so different and i can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

The miscommunication in this book was so freaking good, whenever i read a book with miscommunication, i normally want to throw my kindle across the room but fight!? didnt make me want to do that, It added just the right amount of tension without making me want to scream.
Cal and Scottie's story honestly had me having butterflies and it was such a funny feeling, My heart hurt for cal and his insecurity's and loved scottie's journey in finding herself!! i love even more that cal fought for her and helped Jonathan too!!
The spice was, so hot Callaghan has a MOUTH on him and it was genuinely so good, even better with the audio! having Brandon Francis saying "good girl" had me a puddle on the floor.
the audiobook narrated in duet style by Savannah Thomas and Brandon Francis brought the story to life!! it was my first audio narrated by the narrators and they both were great!

This is a perfect example of when the miscommunication trope is painful.
The characters may be fictional but they were adults who acted like children, just have a conversation. I tried to struggle through but the actions of the MMC just kept putting me off.
