Grim story line but it was a pleasant change to support why the victims were chosen. I guessed the killer but this didn't spoil the story. Looking forward to more of Detective Andy Gilchrist. Loved the Scottish accents too, of course. Think this series will be a keeper

I really couldn’t last out. The only good thing about this story is David Monteath I really love his voice. I think that’s why I bought this book but even marvellous Monteath couldn’t save this.

Brutal detail, rapist's POV. I like gritty crime novels but this is pornographic. If I hadn't asked for my money back on the book I'd bought just previous to this I would have asked for a refund. Glad I slept through most of this then fast-forwarded to the end. Nauseating sexual violence.

Had to turn this off. Made me feel sick.
