اعتادت سماء أن تذهب مع والديها كلَّ يوم خميس إلى السينما ليلًا، لكن هذا الأسبوع خرجت مع والدها فقط فقد كانت والدتها مرتبطة بموعدٍ مع صديقة لها.

ولأنَّ السينما كانت تعرض فيلمًا ناجحًا فقد وجداها مزدحمة جدًا، ولم يجدا مقعدين متجاورين وبعد محاولات استطاعا الحصول على تذكرتين ولكن غير متجاورتين، وكادا يعودان لكن سماء ألحّت على والدها في الدخول...وجلس الأب...وجلست سماء وحدها.

وفي الاستراحة قام والد سماء بالذهاب إليها في مقعدها وأحضر لها الجيلاتي ثمَّ عاد إلى مقعده، لكن وعند نهاية الفيلم الذي كان عن الحرب العالمية الثانية وانتهى بأصوات طلقات المدافع والرصاص، حدثت مشاجرة بين بعض الأشخاص في نفس المكان الذي تجلس فيه سماء، وعندما أسرع والدها إلى المكان الذي كانت تجلس فيه لم يجدها...لم يجدها في أيّ مكان...لقد اختفت.

لم تكن هذه حالة اختفاء عادية فبعد أن تتبع المغامرون صديقتهم وبدؤوا بالبحث عنها اكتشفوا أسرارًا رهيبة!
