About this listen

Max and company pursue their epic quest to restore the Heart of the Mountain, finding new enemies and surprising allies along the way. The potential rewards are tremendous, but the cost is high. A growing threat from the mountains to the north endangers Stormhaven, its citizens, and its neighbors.

Looking to expand his kingdom, and most especially his population, Max leads a party to the newest human kingdom where he learns about a ruthless Battleborne queen and discovers that dungeons are both real and deadly.

the proformance is fantastic- the voice actor is how i found this book. but i do have a couple small complaints.

**somewhat spoilers if you havent read the book before checking reviews.**

giving the main character an ability to "explode" pactically anything and it being fairly easy for him to acquire seems very poorly written. suggests other enemies would also have basically instant kill abilities and makes the survival of the main characters not plausible. and he uses it to win most of his fights.
the author also uses so many game mechanics but then has them defeating enemies so high above themselves... which is completely inconsistant with any game. and lastly the orc companion having keanu reeves voice is honestly annoying and doesnt fit. every other characters voice changes to their race but his. would of highly enjoyed his voice being an average orc varity much more.

again overall i have and am continuing to enjoy these books just food for thought for the author i suppose

i really enjoy this book!
