I enjoy this series very much. The story is pretty basic but the book moves at a good pace and I like the characters. Maybe there are messages in the book like we should all get along with one another, tolerate & embrace differences which resonate with me so I like the book.

This is probably my favourite reincarnation story I’ve read. Lite game elements make it better with the power scale understanding.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this series, and it’s enactment by the narrators. With an eclectic mix of ‘earth’ culture, humour and values in a fantasy setting, it’s a very enjoyable way to spend a couple of days listening!

Getting tiresome this series, wins every battle, pushes his motives till he gets his way, nothing bad ever happens to King max like ever, yeah he's attacked but he always bullies himself out of it, where's the pressure for his kingdom, at least make his allies kingdoms fall in peril, push max into a corner not fricken give everything to him on a silver platter, shit kill off one of the other battle born he has with him, there's heaps to spare, HERES WHAT HAPPENS IN THE NEXT BOOK, KING MAX WILL WIN ALL HIS BATTLES BY BULLYING, BACKING A CRAZY QUEEN INTO A CORNER WITH BULLY TACTICS, DEMANDS EVERYTHING AND GETS IT, NO STRUGGLE WHAT SO EVER, don't think I will get the next book cause all the books are starting to be repetitive
Narration was good not great, only issue is Max, just sounds too arrogant

becoming quite repetitive. king max is unbeatable no struggle. is gifted everything with no real reason.was disappointed every main villain just dies so easily. there is no struggle or character growth. no challenges. main character just overpowered. wish he would get humbled by another character.
