This is the first book of the series, and yep I totally purchased all of the audio books not knowing what I was actually getting as I went in blind, and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Truthfully I’m not sure if it’s the story, or the female narrator… the men hit their mark but I didn’t enjoy the female.. it was just… meh..
so what am I going to do? I’m giving it another chance and starting book 2! Fingers crossed!!

The narration at the start was a bit disjointed but then after a couple of chapters is got it’s rhythm and oh boy …….. was it good. The scenes were so HOT. Really well done.

This is one hell of a fantasy for the author perhaps???
I do feel mixed. The narration was generally good, however I did have an issue with the audio mix. Robert Hatcher's sounded like he was in the background or something.. different sound he others. He also sounded a little more disengaged.. perhaps because of that and the character he was narrating?
Also felt mixed about the story.. though mostly I like her stories. It was more a checklist of what you could do sexually in a threesome. I find that, when that step by step, trying to chalk up positions becomes so much of the books focus, I can feel more disengaged from the story .. as if it's more a science description or experiment.
I also personally don't like much of what is now called kink... though it was handled after a trusting, respectful and safe environment was first established.
However I did like the feeling of warmth developed between them all and the niceness of the guys. It did all sound like a major fairytale but then it is a romance.
While I did enjoy the characters' connection, I didn't feel the same emotional engagement with the sex scenes.. maybe due to the above. Also the girl often sounded a bit less real than the guys, a bit demanding and egotistical rather than free thinking..
