About this listen

Performed with duet narration by Samantha Brentmoor, Teddy Hamilton, and Jason Clarke!

Two star hockey players and their best friend’s little sister in a runaway bride rom com!

Picture this. I’m about to walk down the aisle when the groom decides to drop this news on me—he wants to dial it down to just f-buddies.

That’s when my brother’s two pro-hockey playing buddies help me escape seconds before the wedding march begins. But what’s a runaway bride to do with a broken heart and a non-refundable honeymoon? Book an extra ticket and take two off-limits, totally charming, absolutely gorgeous star athletes who want to lift my spirits.

When we arrive there’s only bed in the hotel room.

And it happens to fit three. The goalie, the forward and me.

Looks like I’m about to get thoroughly pucked on my double honeymoon. Talk about lifting my spirits…

Thoroughly Pucked is a standalone hockey, brother’s best friends, runaway bride MFM romance with a guaranteed why-choose style HEA! No swords cross.

The third book in this series follows Ledger, Dev and Aubrey. I really enjoyed the story. Aubrey is left on her wedding day and her brother's friends take her on her honeymoon. It's a fun premise and there's lots of laughs. There isn't much hockey as it's the off season. This book has great narration and I highly recommend this format. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I love this series

I think Ms. Blakely’s words were great on their own and was really enjoying the ebook. Until… I started work today and switched to the audiobook so I could keep going while I worked. The narrators added so much… “more” to the story- depth and humour and just rounded out the story so well!
All up this was a fantastic read and I can highly recommend.

I listened and read this book alternatively

I've liked a lot of the authors earlier books. However I think with this one, I won't bother to track new releases any more.
While threesomes aren't my taste in romance, I read the first in this series. That one was Ok as the characters were respectful and caring.
The second I found a significant contrast to the first and I abandoned it early. Those guys I found predatory. They insisted on dominating and giving her orders, and when the woman tried to give them direction, they said no: that was their role. She then told them to use her!
That went way beyond what I think is OK in any relationship dynamic.
I actually wonder how the mother of an adolescent girl can think it's OK either. Would she be happy if her daughter told men to lose her, and had her freedom of choice over- ruled like that. Others may say it's just play and consensual but it's not one I buy into and isn't respectful to women. It's likely to keep therapists busy for many years when people find their usual relationships unfulfilling and screwed up.
I get to this current book. I think I only tried it as I usually like the narrators. However the sex went on endlessly, and was very rough at the outset. I prefer more story. It was also SO similar to the earlier books in the series.
Jason Clarke used to be at the top of my favourite narrators list but I often found recently he seems to assume a one-dimensional gruff, impatient, often predatory, and 'pissed off' in delivery tone. Hope he gets back the range I enjoyed so much earlier. Teddy was fine though.
Anyway I abandoned this audio and DNF.
I see the next in this series that is coming is basically much the same plot... yet again. She has just added a third hockey player to the mix. This is starting to sound like someone sex addicted who keeps trying to up the ante and find new edge when she's got accustomed to what she was into before.
So, that's it for me. Hope she returns to something different in the future. Think I'll focus on other authors.

Too much sex, not enough story. Too much like earlier ones in series
