Detonate by Luna Mason completely blew me away—I loved this book!! Grayson has officially become one of my favorite male main characters. The way he treated Maddie, even before things really began between them, had me swooning. He was patient, protective, and just so easy to fall for.
Maddie was such a standout character too. I found her super relatable, and I was so proud of her growth especially how she finally stood up to her mother. Her journey was emotional but empowering, and I was cheering her on the whole time.
It was also so fun getting glimpses of Sienna and Keller from book one! And Frankie?? My jaw was literally on the floor did not see that coming. Now I’m so excited for Luca’s book—I need more, and I’m very curious about Rosa!
The audiobook narration was absolutely spot-on. Maxine Mitchell and Robert Hatchett delivered such a heartfelt and passionate performance. Their voices fit the characters perfectly, and the emotions they brought out made the story even more impactful.
