But as truths unravel, she begins to question everything.
I was obsessed with Zara’s character! She’s bold, defiant, and completely badass—the kind of FMC that commands the room and never backs down. She balanced Frankie’s intensity perfectly and brought out a side of him we hadn’t seen before. Their connection was compelling, though I will admit I was hoping for more of a classic enemies-to-lovers arc. It felt a little softer than expected on that front.
What truly brought this story to life was the narration. Angelina Rocca and Antonio Amato delivered such a captivating performance. You could feel every ounce of pain, anger, and longing in their voices. They made the emotions hit that much harder and elevated the whole experience.
And let’s not forget the bonus epilogue! Hearing about all the original characters’ sons starting a boxing ring at school? Hilarious and heartwarming. I had the biggest grin on my face.
