"موسم صيد الغزلان" رواية تدور أحداثها في المستقبل الذي يحاول الكاتب استشرافه بقليل من الخيال معتمدًا على ما وصل إليه العالم حاليًا من تقدم علمي وتقنيات حديثة لا تزال في بداياتها مثل الواقع الافتراضي والواقع المعزز والطائرات ذاتية القيادة وما سيفرضه هذا التقدم المتسارع من غرور وصراعات فلسفية.

تبدأ الأحداث من عند بطل الرواية نديم أستاذ علم النفس التطوري الذي لا يؤمن بوجود الإله ويعزي كل شيء إلى العلم فقط ويصمه البعض بالجنون والإلحاد والزندقة والترويج للمثلية الجنسية.

يلتقي نديم بعد إحدى محاضراته مع طارق صاحب مكان يطلق عليه "الملاذ" يجري داخله جلسات استرخاء وتنويم مغناطيسي يساعد على استرجاع الحياة السابقة للشخص طبقا لمفهوم عودة الروح بعد الموت في حياة أخرى وجسد آخر، ويدعوه إلى خوض التجربة مستخدما في ذلك الطُعم المثالي للبطل وهي "تاليا" تلك المرأة الغجرية الفاتنة التي أسرت نديم من أول نظرة.

يقبل نديم التحدي ويخوض على ثلاث مراحل التجربة التي يدخلها بقناعات وفكر معين ويخرج منها إنسانا آخر....

إنّها رواية تتنبأ بعالَم تُلقَى بذورە الآن، وتناقش الصراعَ الأبدي بين العقل، وأعظم القناعات على الإطلاق!!
