Zum Glück konnten die beiden das Unheil abwenden. Doch nun droht neue Gefahr. Zwei Fischer berichten, dass im Mittelmeer plötzlich zwanzig Meter hohe Wellen aufgetaucht seien. Niemand kann sich erklären, woher die großen Wellen stammen. Das Meer sei an diesem Tag ausgesprochen ruhig gewesen, berichteten die Fischer, und es hätte auch keinen plötzlichen Wind gegeben. Handelte es sich etwa um gefährliche Monsterwellen? Irgendetwas stimmte hier ganz und gar nicht!
