Exactly what I was looking for. Well done.
My experience on LinkedIn was poor. I am not trying to employ anyone and I am not trying to get a job. So LinkedIn didn't really give me anything but annoying people asking me to join them. It actually didn't occur to me that some of these people could help me.
After listening to This book, I now know how they can help me, why I should use them and the best way to get them involved. It's great.

Some good tips but gives me the feeling of I just paid for an infomercial
I liked some of the tools and tips provided in the book. Although there are links and recommendations to software and templates I got a sour feeling about being a target of a huge infomercial machine to provide business and reference cash for the author and author company. That feeling diminished the value and credibility of the information. Just read it with a critical mind.

Actually useful!
I've had my share of social media books and a lot of them had extremely boring narrators AND they were the most basic information about social media. This book was very informative and exactly what I needed. I didn't know much about LinkedIn and now I feel like I know a lot more than I did and very confident in making some new connections.
