Story
As a wolf shifter growing up in a strong pack, I should be living my best life. But after my father tried to kill our leader, I’m labelled an outcast, traitor, less than dirt. When I can't take pack life any longer, I run, but apparently they don't like losing their punching bag. Torin, the leader’s son, drags me back before my first shift...a shift that will reveal my true mate. I never could have predicted who mine would be, but the moment my wolf looks upon him, I’m filled with hope for a brighter future.

Story
With the magical black market chasing my untrained powers, I'm running a race I can't win. The wolves who have added me to their pack are no match for the dark mages hunting me. With no way to learn control over these talents, I'm risking the lives of the men I love just by being in contact with them. When we discover a bewitched knife in our possession, we find it's the key to a magical prison, whose occupant might just be the answer to my troubles, if my pack can accept him.

What’s better than three monstrous hotties? How about four.... While helping the trio of sexy-as-sin monsters who followed me home, I lost my apartment, my sense of security, and more blood than was really healthy. Somehow my new lovers make me feel like I’ve gotten the better part of the bargain. Unfortunately, their newly-rescued boss isn’t so keen on humans. I get the feeling he’d rather rend me limb from limb than give me the time of day. Too bad for him my mortal skills are just too useful to toss aside.

Publisher's Summary
My blood is their salvation...and my ruin.
For years, the monsters who killed my family have held me in a cage. Brutalized and half-starved. Only kept alive so they can steal my blood.
Until one evening when four eerily gorgeous men break me out of my prison.
They give me a soft bed and delicious food. They say they'll protect me — but their generosity may come at a price.
My rescuers are monsters like my captors: fae who shift into wolves. A curse gripping the faerie realm turns them wild under the full moon. Only my blood can cure their rage.
These fearsome men need me, and not just to lift the curse. A tragedy left them outcasts, and offering me to their rulers could win them back the home and the power they lost.
No matter how kindly they treat me, no matter how their smoldering eyes and strong hands stir unfamiliar desires in both my body and my heart, their castle is just another prison. As long as I'm a prize more than a person, my life will never be my own.
I've survived this long without giving up. I won't roll over now. But how can one damaged human girl hold her own against the savage fae?
Captive of Wolves is the first in a new paranormal romance saga featuring possessive wolf shifters, fraught fae politics, and a wounded heroine coming into her own. Grab it now and get swept away in the fantasy!

Pretty cool
This was a pretty cool audiobook. I loved the narration and the story was ok but ... there was something about it that would make me say it's not in my absolute favourites list. It's a good book, don't get me wrong, it just wouldn't be part of my top 10 to recommend. The narration was amazing though! Savannah Peachwood and Ryan West really added more description to the characters then I would have had if reading it as is. If you do decide to read this, I would definitely recommend you listen to it as an audiobook, because it really adds to make it even more amazing. Enjoy!

Couldn't stop listening!
Once I started listening to this book, I couldn't stop. I love how the narrators have brought these characters to life. I have gotten to the point where I listen to this author's new books rather than read them because I love her choice of narrators for her books. The stories are engrossing and amazing as always, but the narrators bring them to life in a way that is different from just reading the words on my kindle. I love how this is a different twist on fae and shape shifters and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Loved this version of fae
I normally don't read books about fae, but I live Eva Chase's writing and had to give this a try. I am so glad I did. The story held my attention from the beginning. The dual narrations kept me engaged throughout. I hope the rest of the series comes to audio.

Great start to a new series
Oh boy, a fantastic start to a new series. Talia is a human who was stolen by wolves and brought to live in a cage - somewhere. As she was unconscious when she was put in the cage she has no idea where she is or why three inhuman beings show up to take her blood. Most of the rest of the time they ignore her, except to feed her just enough to keep her alive. One night she has finally figured out how to get out of her cage and suddenly strangers show up in the room where she is kept. They are looking for something and happen upon her by accident. Emaciated, naked, and crippled she is no match for them and she is once again taken. It seems that she was what they were looking for. This time though, she wakes up in a real bed and is allowed to eat as much as she wants. She soon finds out that she is just as much a prisoner as she was before.
Sylas and his cadre have come looking for the secret to the elixir that another group of Fae is selling. It seems to be a remedy for the full-moon wildness that has been taking over the fae for some time now. Nobody knows why they suddenly started turning into wild beings on the full moon when before they shifted only when they desired to, but the elixir stops the change in its tracks. As outcasts, their clan does not often get to use the elixir. This captive human they have found in the stronghold of Aerik's pack smells just like the potion and Sylas has no qualms about taking her back to his village. Aerik should have treated her like something special, which she is, instead of like an unwanted prisoner.
Of course, trouble will follow the wolves as they try to decide what to do with her. They can turn her over to the arch-lords and perhaps gain back some of their lost honor. They can keep her hidden and try to figure out what it is about her blood that stops the curse in its tracks. They can let her return to the human realm, though that will just mean that Aerik tracks her down and takes her again. The one thing they did not take into consideration was Talia herself and how she would call to them as a person.
I won't spoil the story for you. Lots of world-building in this one and also character building. You will love meeting Sylas, August, and Whitt. Kellan - not so much. I can't wait to see what happens next. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Great book.
I loved this book. Interesting story with a slight twist. Fae that turn in wolves on the night of the moon. One girl that seems to have the power to stop this from happening. I am moving on to book two as I really want to follow the story and see what happens. You will enjoy it if you start this series.

Bring on book 2
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
I can say the best thing of 2020 for me was discovering Eva Chase. I have loved everything she writes and this book certainly doesn’t disappoint! As usual each character is well defined and unique. Our female lead has an inner strength despite such traumatic life she has led. The first book seems to be setting a lot of the world building and character development into place for some real action to really come into book two which I really look forward to!

Captive of wolves
This is book one of a series. Capture, caged and treated badly for many years by monsters she had never now existed, until she found a opportunity to escape but is taken before she has a chance. I like the way it has a male and female narrators to read the different chapters that are from different characters prospective, it did take a short time to get used to the voices but quickly got into the story. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and I the fae wolf shifters that rescued/kidnapper her from the cage. I am looking forward to the next book to find out what happens next.

Kidnapping gone right?
This was an interesting take on an RH story as our leading lady is a kidnapping victim who is kidnapped by friendlier captors who she starts having feelings for. It’s dark and there are some places that make you wonder but it’s fiction and it’s highly entertaining. This was a solid book 1 with minimal steam. I enjoyed and am looking forward to book 2!

Talia and her men
I like the beginning of the story, a lot. It was very promising, with a good tension and some mystery surrounding the blood thing. But then the story started to drag and nothing much was happening. We got about 5h of relationship progression between Talia and her men, it got tiresome at some point and yet it felt rushed.
I just couldn't suspend my disbelief enough to completely enjoy the story, I don't think the way she act is the way a child victim of abuse would act. She was abducted when a child, since then she didn't have any normal interactions, so she wouldn't know about sex and other stuff.
Anyway, I liked the story, but I don't think it was well executed, it could be better.
The narration was solid, I loved Savannah Peachwood specially, her skills as a voice actor is superb.

Thoroughly enjoyable
The narrators were great. The story was interesting and absorbing, if a little slow in places. I recommend it and am looking forward to book 2!

Captive of a fantastic story
Book 1 in the series.
Wow Eva always writes heart stopping, mind gripping stories. This one is no different. What I like about this one is it’s a bit different then a normal reverse harem.
In this one there is a human girl held captive by Fae wolfs because her captors don’t know why but her blood has magic in it . Other Fae wolfs safe her but they don’t know how the magic works Grab it and find out
Ryan West and Savanna Peachwood were fantastic in this performance. I’m a big fan of theirs . The voices were out of this world , they brought the characters to life

Touch of all your favs in 1
This story took a few chapters to suck you in, but by the end you need to know what happens in book 2! This mix of Fae, wolves and a touch of a love mess gives you a touch of all your favorite PNR stories in 1 book!

Captured me from the start
Forgive the pun but once again Eva knocked it out of the park with this one. The world building is EPIC, the drama is high and the stakes are higher for Thalia after she is rescued from imprisonment so long she can't remember much of life before. I've read in her facebook group that this is going to be an enormous series and I can't wait for each and every part!
The bullet version:
Grumpy one/sunshine one
Alpha hero
Cinnamon roll hero
Grown a** adults
Fae mythology
Heroine doesn't meekly accept/obey everything

The Curse and Cure
This was an exciting paranormal story with a bit of unexpected romance that keeps you entranced until the end. Talia, the initially timid and traumatized heroine become a self assured woman coming into her own. Silas, the Lord and gentle leader of the pack, Autumn, the sensitive younger brother that takes care of the caudre, Whit, the eldest brother that seems to be a jokester, but very observant and Callen, kin of Silas mate and known to dislike humans complete the caudre that rescues Talia. The twists and turns of this story will keep you on edge and the ending, OMG, I can't wait for the next book. I will probably buy the book and later buy the audiobook. The narrators were phenomenal. 5 Stars all day long
