Publisher's Summary

Is this bond a blessing or a curse?

My blood binds me to the curse of the summer fae. Am I entwined with the Unseelie's curse as well? I didn't ask to be the key to the survival of not one, but two faerie realms, but I can't stand by while others suffer if there's some way I can help.

Unfortunately, the ties of my heart to men on both sides may cause more problems than I can solve. After years of violence, will summer and winter even find peace? Neither side is eager to compromise, and my lovers' loyalties to me have turned them into targets.

I want to believe that love can win out over hate and pain. But as tensions both between and within the realms rise, it might break me apart instead.

Secrets of Winter is the fifth book in Bound to the Fae, a new paranormal romance series featuring possessive shifters, dangerous fae politics, and a wounded heroine finding her strength.

mind blown

Ok... my mind is just blown away. Talia has grown so much in this series, and continues to with the help and support of all of the guys. She learns so much more about not only herself but Corwin and her connection with him.
Each book just keeps getting better and better.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrators are amazing as always

This series just keeps getting better

Loved this installment of the Bound to the Fae series as Talia strives to strengthen her connection to the Winter Fae and Corwin while protecting her bond with Sylas and his cadre. Talia gets her first look at the Raven's curse and she and Corwin try to find a way for her to help his people like she does the Wolves. Meanwhile, she is also doing her best to broker some kind of lasting peace between the two realms. The arch-lords of the Winter realm are reluctant to reveal their secret to the Summer fae, but Talia points out that they have done themselves no good so far by attempting to take land on the other side of the border through force.

The fragile peace will be threatened by an attack and Talia's success at curing those who fall to the curse of the Winter realm will be sporadic. She is not even sure exactly what it is that sometimes works to reverse the symptoms. One thing that goes well is her growing feelings and trust for Corwin and he even has a proposal that may make it possible for her to keep all her men. But there are those that don't trust her or the fae of the Summer realm and they will do their best to tear her from her soul-twined mate.

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Talia Makes An Important Decision

Talia's story picks up where the earlier book finished she continues to travel back and forth between the Winter and Summer Realms and between her four men Arch Lords Sylas, August and Whitt of the Summer Fae and Arch-lord Corwin of the Winter Fae. Corwin has proposed a plan for a small settlement for some Winter Fae in the Summer Realm to see if it will. help with the curse which is killing the Winter Fae. With Sylas's help, it's agreed and things are moving along slowly but surely.

Talia and Corwin are becoming closer, her blood is a temporary cure to Summer Fae's curse, is there a chance she could be the cure for Winter Fae's curse too? As they explore different ideas they do have some success but can they repeat it? But not everyone in the Winter Realm wants them to succeed but how far are they prepared to go to stop them?

The closeness between Corwin and Talia is not the only change in the situation but to tell you more would involve too many spoilers so you will just have to download this one for yourself. What I can say is that I'm enjoying their developing relationships and am liking Corwin more with each book, I am eager to see where the author takes us in the next book.

The narration of this book is excellent, all the characters we know so well by now are brought to life so well by Savannah Peachwood and Ryan West

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Yet another great book in the series

I love the twists and turns that happen in every book! You really cannot “get comfortable” with any of the more tense situations. While, it’s easy to try and guess what is going to happen…the writer does an excellent job of incorporating the expected and the curve balls of the storyline. I am never left disappointed in the books. I hope you enjoy!

Seems like the series took a turn for the not so good.

I was loving this series, but the turn it has taken with her always being with the Winter Fae wasn’t as enjoyable. I’m not crazy about Corwin’s personality at all. The ending has me curious,so I will try the next one. But if it continues the way it has been I may stop there. It’s too bad. I just hope it makes a turn for the better. The narration is still amazing!!

A gripping heart listen

Book 5 in the series. Wow what can I say about this series. Eva Chase knows how to write heart gripping action full stories.
This story picks up where book 4 ends.
In this story Talia has a hard time in the Winter realm of the Fai The unsealie Fai put her through a hard trial, tests once Corwin brings her there , Corwin let’s it be known that Talia is his heart and highest choice. Corwin is a Raven Fae Talia doesn’t know if she can cure the sickness going through the winter realm . Talia is put through lots of tests , the winter Fae want her to fail.
She still goes back to the summer Fae , to be with her Fae wolfs.
Grab it and see can the different Fae learn to live with themselves and does Talia learn how to cure the sickness with the people that want to destroy her , only because she’s human.
The performance of Savanna Peachwood and Ryan West was fantastic. They were unbelievable doing all the characters. Their tone was very great for each different character.
