Publisher's Summary

Twice I’ve been kidnapped by the fae.

First were the monsters who ripped me from everything I knew and threw me in a cage.

Next came the men who rescued me and offered me a safe haven.

But my saviors and my former captors have something in common. A decades-old curse holds all the Seelie fae in its grasp, turning them into savage, mindless beasts with the rise of the full moon. Something in my blood cures that rage like nothing else they’ve found. To most of them, I’m nothing but a prize to be claimed.

The fiercely passionate men who’ve taken me in would give me my freedom, but the ones who first stole me will stop at nothing to drag me back into their prison. The already weakened pack that’s welcomed me may not survive a battle.

I didn’t expect to find love among the fae...but I can’t deny the feelings growing inside me. I didn’t mean to get mixed up in a war between them...but here I am. When my newfound lovers leap into the fray to protect me, I won’t let them fight alone.

No matter what it costs me.

Feral Blood is the second book in a new paranormal romance saga featuring possessive wolf shifters, fraught fae politics, and a wounded heroine coming into her own.

Beautiful and consuming story!

Again, I just love this world and got totally lost in it. It's an excellent listen from start to finish. Talia continues to grow, and watching that growth is inspiring. I adore all of the guys, and watching their relationships progress in their own time is beautiful! Each of them has not only won Talia's heart, but also mine. This second book definitely held some surprises and I am so excited to see what comes next!

As for the narration 4/5 stars for the female and 5/5 for the guy. There was nothing particularly bad about the female narration, I just didn't love all of the character voices that she did (just enough to bring it down from a 5 star). However, both narrators did have distinct character voices and brought the story to life. They was always spoke clearly, at a good pace, and were easy to understand.

Loving these fae/wolf shifters

Lots happening in the second book of the series. Talia, August, and Sylas grow closer. Talia becomes more integrated into the pack and starts to make friends. As the war on the border continues, the pack struggles to maintain their contributions to the cause. They have a small number of capable fighters and some must be held back to patrol their own territory. Cole, one of the wolves who kidnapped Talia, has been seen in the area and she must stick close to home. When Sylas decides he and his cadre need to venture to the front to see what is happening for themselves, Talia insists on going along. Let's just say things are going to go as expected and Talia will end up completely exposed to the wrong fae.

I am not going to ruin the story for you. Whitt and Talia will grow closer - so stand by. Sylas and his pack will finally get a chance to redeem themselves, but will Talia's freedom be the price they pay?

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Meh

I did not love or hate this series. It did NOT end on an epic cliff hanger but did leave room for a third book if they choose to continue. Talia does get stronger in book 2 and claims all 3 men as hers verbally. The sexy time though are basically non existence. She does finally have sex once and plays a little with the others but it's not enough to feel it really. The story with being cast outs and redeeming themselves in the eyes of the Archlords was interesting. It just did not feel like a true RH to me.

I need the next one ASAP!

I have patiently been waiting for this book to be on audio and the wait was definitely worth it! I love this world that Eva Chase has created and the narrators are absolutely fantastic at bringing it to life. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Holy moly batman, I need more!!

Ok, so I liked book 1 of Eva Chase's new series but I loved book 2! I thought the story picked up, our MC got stronger and was finding herself, and I thought the narration was improved to the point where I was waiting on bated breath during some moments. I am not going to run it for you but here are some highlights from me!

Storyline:
- Loved seeing another men officially join the 2 brothers in the harem, we knew it was coming but I loved how it developed, definitely pulled at my heartstrings!
- I loved seeing Talia find her inner strength and stand up to her worst nightmares and contribute to their group
- Loved seeing more of some of the side characters and hope they get more air time in future books
- Loved the sexy times and sometimes more romantic, nerdy, or vulnerable ones (loved when Talia and Whit making their own concoction for food haha)
- Liked some things were resolved, while more questions were brought up (like more about Talia and her magic and what is going to happen with the different fae factions and the politics to go with it)
- Loved when some baddies got their comeuppance!!

Narration:
- I thought these narrators did a better job injecting life into these characters than they did in book 1. Not that it was bad but this one was an improvement
- Range was better in terms of fear, strength, levity, inflections were better aligned and helped bring the characters to life in my mind and didn't want it to end
- I think Ryan improved with his accents (one of my biggest critiques from book 1) so that helped make this a 4-4.5 stars from me (if it improves in book 3, easily will be 5 stars)

Definitely continue to recommend this series and especially on audio because they keep getting better with each book ❤️❤️❤️

Another smashing success.

The heroine in this story is different from others that Ms. Chase has written about. There is a vulnerability there, yet she has a backbone of steel. I am loving this series. It's fresh, exciting, and original. I can't wait to see what come in book three. Five stars!

Another good one!

Let me just say I love these characters! There really is not one that I can say I dislike in this book besides Eric and his wolves but they are such a small part. I enjoyed the book. I did feel it was a little slow in the beginning but it got really good towards the middle and def the end. I can’t wait to see what will happen next!!!

Talia and her guys get physical

Talia is introduced to the fae pack. A fae woman, Harper, befriends her and is enlisted to help protect her.

We see more of a threat from the pack that held Talia captive with glamours help her to be safe from them being able to know who exactly she is but they stay suspicious and they have to stay on alert just in case.

Trouble brews when the other pack breaks the enchantments and discover just who Talia is despite their efforts. In their laws, she must be returned to them so the pack scrambles to figure out how to prevent that from happening.

I loved to see the relationship between Talia and the pack, more feelings than any of them bargained for. Silas and August were drawn to her pretty immediately but Whit took his time.

The narration was great and let’s you in to feel the emotion of these characters.

Addictive

I just couldn’t stop listening! I’ve downloaded it this morning and just finished it... it’s so good!

This book starts short after the first one. In it we see the development of Talia’s relationship with her man. We also get to know a bit of the fae world. Auguste is just the sweetest but the other two are just as loveable. I loved what happened to Eric. He definitely got what he deserved ^^

I received a free audio copy from the author for a honest review.

Feral magic

Book 2 in the series Eva Chase went all out in this series. This story will grab your attention and ear puds till the end . The world-building was is very well done and the descriptions given make it easy to visualise everything. The characters are very different but they are also very well drawn which makes them totally believable. The wolfs want to help in every way . Eva wrote a well written stoy and leaves you wanting more! Narration was very well done, the story line flows smoothly . It ends on a cliffhanger. Can’t wait for the next one .

The performance of Savanna Peachwood and Ryan West was fantastic. They brought all the characters to life . They bring you right into the story

Enchanting tale and reverse harem love

I feel for this human in a fae world, her want to fit in and be loved. I feel the fear of past torture and her resonate to make the best life possible in a world at war.

I look forward to the next book and enjoy both narrators.

An easy enjoyable fun listen

I received a free copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review.

This book follows on straight from Captive of Wolves and gives the next stage of Talia's story with the Fae. As with the first book, it's a thoroughly enjoyable, easy, listen. Well read by both narrators, and despite the male narrating for 3 characters he easily gives each one an individual voice and feel that seems to match them well. We get a wider view of the rest of the Fae world in this book and some good development in the overall plot of the series. I'm looking forward to hearing how things progress in book 3.
