The narrator sucks - get the book!

I've spent a couple of weeks around Barranca del Cobre including a 5 day walk from Divisidero - crossing the canyon and visiting the town of Pamachi before returning via a different route. It was lots of fun route finding and following paths that you didn't really know where they'd go. Listening to this book brought back some of these memories and makes me want to go back and descend some of the rivers in the area. I like hearing all the familiar names as well as many more that I don't recall. An accompanying pdf like other audio books have would be very welcome so that the listener can look at the photos the narrator directly speaks of... some maps too would go a long way (I'm sure they must be in the book!)... but the main issue I have with this audio book is the narrator 'itself'. I'm not even sure if it is a real person or one of the AI voices that are getting used to narrate books now. The voice just doesn't seem very natural most of the time. I'd stick with the ebook for this one if you aren't sure which way to go.
