Kafka schrieb "Brief an den Vater" im November 1919 in der Pension Stüdl in Schelesen. Im Dezember 1919 kehrte er nach Prag zurück, ohne den Brief an seinen Vater abgeschickt oder persönlich übergeben zu haben. Geblieben ist ein bedeutendes Stück Weltliteratur!
