Neil Lancaster gets better and better!

For a confessed self-taught author, Neil Lancaster is making one hell of a good job of his new chosen profession. As he said in an interview, he just decided it was something he wanted to have a go at, and voile! His natural skills, life experience and wry sense of humour come together to produce yet another of his great stories. This one must be the best so far, with great twists of plots, His knowledge of the subject matter is obvious. His experience in the policing world and the wonderful highlands of Scotland - all add together for a gripping book.
Aided and abetted by the wonderful narration skills of Angus King, this really is a worthwhile book to enjoy.

Another cracking book!

This one really had me on my toes! I even messaged Neil at one point as I was so totally frightened for a certain character, which he said he enjoyed writing the most haha
I hope there is more to come!

Overall brilliance 😃

Can't put into words how great this book was! The insight into policing procedures is just fascinating, and despite the storyline, it wasn't too "dark" as I'd been wary of how far it would go... as it's hard of course not to empathise with the victims 😔 Also great was the interview at the end, an insight into this wonderful author! Can't believe I have to wait till March for the next book 😫 😳😅
