Great Story of secondary characters

A very good story of warfare by others in universe. No Jedi, just ordinary people fighting against the Empire.

not so good

i struggled with this one, normally I love random Star Wars stories especially if they are connected to a game but this was really hard to listen to. reader was ok, butbtge story just seemed to drag on from one boring thing to another.

Horrible book....

horrible book, boring as all he'll, story sucked just as much as the boring characters. Lots of words but all filler and did nothing doe the story, so dissapointed in this, so much potential for a fun story... massive fail. Reading performance was A+ as usual though, sounded great, all issues are with the writing and story.

Great game, Not so great book

I had some reservations about this book. As I began, I did my best to put that reservation aside, but I found it hard to get into the narrative. The storyline seemed to be all over the place and didn't flow very well. It felt not only disjointed but also uninteresting. I also found it hard to track different characters' storylines, but maybe I'm overthinking the narrative.
The difference between regulations and the reality of war seemed to be a big theme. This aspect was the most developed part of the overall story and reminded me of many of my world wars classes. However, I felt like I really didn't care that much. I didn't connect with the characters, and that was the biggest downfall for me.
I'm not sure what they were going for here. Who is the intended audience? Because although I live the video game, I also love books, and this book just fell short. In saying that, it's not terrible, and the action scenes were written quite well. I loved it when they got to the Battle of Hoth. But these moments of joy were brief.
