Publisher's Summary

As a newcomer to the alien tribe, I've struggled to find my place. It might be because I'm a tad headstrong at times. And yes, I might have thrown a few things at people's heads. But I had a good reason to pitch a fit - my shy sister was stolen away right under my nose. Of course, now she's back and mated. Everyone's happy...except me.

I need...affection. Attention. Okay, I'm lonely. Really lonely.

Strangely enough, the only person that I think understands what I'm going through is the same blue-skinned brute that stole my sister. It's wrong to hook up with him, even as a mindless fling.

Except...I'm not so good with the whole "rules" thing. And he's not so great with the "fling" thing.

Contains mature themes.

Book 8 builds on Book 7

I love the whole series! Fantastic world building that describes how stranded modern women integrate into a tribal culture of tall, hot, and build, matter of fact aliens - all wrapped up with a steamy sexy sweet romance. The characters are all unique throughout the whole series. Some books have more action then others, which focus more on tribal life and personal struggles. I can't even pick one book as my favourite - I'm afraid you'll have to read them all including the spin off series 'Ice Home'. Fantastic male/ female narrators for the audiobook version too.

Maddie & Hassan.

As much as Maddie was a bit dislikable in the last story, I liked her is this book, very sassy and full of spunk. I also liked Hassan, he only wanted to be loved. It will be interesting to see where this story ends with the craziness at the end of the book. Don’t give up if you were not a fan of Maddie in the last book, series is still great and so was this book. What this series has in abundance is the sexiness factor. Oh boy. Narrators are both good and I look forward to more from the series.

Another great Ice Planet story!

In this entertaining audiobook, we have Maddie who is the sister of Lilah from the previous book. She’s not fitting in too well and is frustrated because she feels bored and useless now that her sister has a mate. She decides to learn to hunt and asks Hassan (the alien who had kidnapped Lilah) to teach her. Before too long they give into their physical attraction, but Hassan wants more than Maddie is ready to give. When disaster strikes, Hassan and Maddie set out to find a new home for everyone. Will they ever resonate and will they find somewhere to move the tribe? Narration was well done!

Great character development.

This is book 8 in the ICE PLANET BARBARIAN SERIES and while each story stands alone, I recommend they be read in order.

This is Maddie and Hassan’s story and in the beginning of the book, I did not like their characters much. When characters are unimpressive at first because of the behaviours they exhibit, with the right author, the potential for growth and development is great. And that happened here. These characters became admirable. They are still not my favourite characters in the series, but I did enjoy their romance as they were well matched and strong together.

While the whole series has been sexy, most stories so far have been lovely, sweet, slow-burns to love and sex. I’d say BARBARIAN TAMING was an exception with hot, erotic beginnings. Wowza.

Audible narrators Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd do a wonderful job bringing the characters to life.

This series has been a welcome and unexpected boost to my romance listening enjoyment. It just keeps getting better. Not a dull moment.

I recommend this series.

Alone through Desperation and Personality

Hassan kidnapped a woman hoping they would turn out to be mates and was regretting he did so out and now only hunts and is kept from the rest of the tribe
Maddie has always taken care of her younger dead sister who has now become independent and has a mate
Maddie and Hassan develop a relationship from feeling outcast and misunderstood
Hassan like all the blue hunters is protective and so sweet to Maddie. Maddie, his fierce Mate’ speaks her mind and finds an accepting partner in Hassan
The narrator does a great job and the story continues to build as the planet itself cause peril in the Life and loves of the earth women and the blue aliens

The funniest one! 😂

This was by far my favorite with two characters originally made to look like troublemakers. The redemption was perfectly done and I LOL’d the whole book. I love Maddie and Hassan!

even outcasts can find love

Poor Maddie really feels like the outcast - the only unmated female, and she has made the tribe uncomfortable with her yelling and throwing things when her sister Lila was kidnapped.
Poor Hassen really is an outcast - he’s exiled for having kidnapped Lila; and boy, is he glad he isn’t stuck with the crying human
These two outcasts find they both feel the same way. Hassen agrees to teach Maddie to hunt so she can feel useful; and agrees to scratch that female itch. Only, he’s ready for the commitment of being a pleasure-mate. Maddie is not.
I just wish so much of her wasn’t so hung up on a negative, fat, body image throughout the story.
Wow! The cave!? Hooray, the toilets!
Jackson and Lloyd do a very good job of narration.
Recommend the book and series::)))

Shut up and take my money!

I had been eagerly anticipating this installment and the author did not disappoint! If I have one complaint, it would be to wish it were longer. The heroines in these stories are always well-rounded and most of the time a bit sassy, giving them a nice realistic outlook. And the barbarians are...barbarians. They are unapologetically honest. There is no such thing as a metaphor or figure of speech. This book, in particular, has a couple of flawed characters in the leading role and I LOVE that!
The narrators are nothing short of genius as well, really immersive experience, thanks for all the work that goes into them!

My favorite couple!

Maddie and Hassan are my favorite IPB couple! She's fiesty and speaks her mind and he is dominant and a marshmallow. Together they are the perfect pair. They aren't afraid to push the settings for sexy times either and I love that too!
Have fun with this one! <3

Maddie didnt b*tch as much as I thought she would

after the last book I was super annoyed with Maddie and wanted to skip her story, I'm glad I didn't though near the end there is a major Discovery and Maddie wasn't so annoying she was just sad, lonely and determined. like I said before the author has a gift I'm writing
