أكتب لكم هذه الرسالة ليلًا لأنّي سأسافر صباحًا في مهمةٍ خارج البلاد، وقد وجدت أنّه بإمكانكم المشاركة في حلّ لغزٍ عجيب من الألغاز التي تستهويكم، وهو لغزٌ جديد لم يسبق أن سمعت أو اشتركت في حل لغزٍ مثله.

لقد وقعت سلسلة من السرقات في ضاحيتكم الجميلة "المعادي" أثناء غيابكم..سرقاتٌ بعضها شديد البساطة وإحداها سرقة لتحفة غالية ربما لا مثيل لها في العالم كله، المهم أنّها كلها تمت بأسلوبٍ واحد وبطريقة مدهشة...!!"
