Wer das Sterben begleitet.
Geburt und Tod werden im Idealfall begleitet. Oder doch nicht? Beim Sterben scheint es, dass manche Warten, dass jemand da ist, um sie zu begleiten und die Hand halten. Andere wiederum sterben, wenn sie allein sind. Hinterbliebene haben manchmal den Eindruck, dass sich Sterbende den Augenblick auf irgendeine Art aussuchen. Neben medizinischem und pflegerischem Fachpersonal gibt es gerade auf den Palliativstationen in Krankenhäusern und in Hospizen ein breites Angebot, dass den emotionalen und den spirituellen Prozess begleitet.
