About this listen
It’s that time of year. Everyone’s sniffling, coughing, and trying not to catch whatever’s going around. We’re talking all things sick season – how to stay well, when it’s time to visit your doctor, and how to care for yourself and others when the germs hit.
In this episode, hosts Meredith Cunningham and Brooklyn Elbert welcome Aubrey Rodriguez, a family nurse practitioner at Covenant Health’s HealthPlus Clinic, to share practical advice for navigating cold and flu season, protecting yourself and your household, and debunking common wives’ tales about staying healthy.
Dr. Aubrey Rodriguez, FNP, Bio:
Aubrey Rodriguez is a nurse practitioner certified in family and emergency medicine. Aubrey completed both her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at West Texas A&M University. Early in her career, she worked for eight years as a registered nurse at Covenant Medical Center. She has been working as a nurse practitioner for five years, first on the East Coast and now at Covenant Medical Group. She is passionate about making sure her patients feel heard and taken care of. When Aubrey isn't in the clinic, you can find her spending time with her family and pets and staying active by running, playing soccer and working in her yard.
