About this listen

We have become his poetry – a study into Ephesians 2

We are going to break down Eph 2 today. It is a very powerful chapter in the Bible.

Eph 2 will show us not only how much we are loved but it will show us some key truths about who God is to us and some things about us.

Eph 2

10 We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it! Passion

Poetry - the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm. Something that arouses strong emotions because of its beauty.

Just as a poet carefully crafts each line, God has uniquely designed every aspect of our lives with intention and purpose. Our journey is a reflection of His creativity and love, woven together to demonstrate His grace in us. Embracing this truth inspires us to walk boldly into the future He has prepared, knowing we are an essential part of His masterpiece.

Eph 2:10

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. NLT

The KJ says that we are his workmanship.

This profound understanding invites us to live with gratitude and humility, recognizing that our lives are not defined by our achievements, but by the grace that has been freely given. As we reflect on the artistry of God’s work in us, let us encourage one another to pursue the good works He has prepared, trusting that His love will continue to shape and guide our paths.
