About this listen
Welcome to AI-Proof, a podcast for parents and educators about preparing our kids for a future infused with Artificial Intelligence. In the coming months, we’ll talk to creators who are using AI in new and mind-bending ways, journalists raising the alarm about AI’s impact on our kids’ mental health, and experts who will remind us what AI is—and what it’s not. For our first episode of the season, we’re kicking off the podcast by talking to Stephen Fitzpatrick, an educator who is utilizing AI in transformative and innovative ways as a teacher, writer, and dad. He has taught middle and upper school History for over three decades at Hackley School in Tarrytown, New York. Three years ago, he was awarded a school research grant to explore the educational applications of artificial intelligence and immersed himself in AI technology. He documents what he’s learning in his Substack, called Teaching in the Age of AI.
