 Florian Bugl, Nikita Quapp, Danny aus den Birken, Mathias Niederberger – die Liste der Torhüter, mit denen Christopher Kolarz bereits zusammengespielt hat, enthält einige hochkarätige Namen. Immerhin stand der 24-Jährige jahrelang in der RB Hockey Akademie in Salzburg und beim EHC Red Bull München unter Vertrag. Das Eishockeyspielen erlernt hat der Schlussmann aber im Nachwuchs der Starbulls Rosenheim. Zu seinem Kindheitsverein ist der gebürtige Bad Aiblinger im Sommer auch zurückgekehrt. Gemeinsam mit Oskar Autio und Anton Röckl bildet er das Torwart-Trio der Starbulls. Im OVB-Podcast „Hart gecheckt“ spricht Kolarz über seine Torwartkollegen, seine Zeit in Salzburg, die bisherige Saison und sein Programm vor einem Spiel.
