Monseñor Eduardo Chávez es el fundador del Instituto Superior de Estudios Guadalupanos y su Director General desde 2003. Seguramente sea la persona que más sabe en el mundo sobre la Virgen de Guadalupe, sobre la que ha publicado 75 obras.
La aparición de la Virgen de Guadalupe al indio Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin en Ciudad de México en diciembre de 1531 marcó la historia del nuevo mundo. En este episodio nos adentramos en las circunstancias históricas de ese hecho, en el vínculo materno-filial y en por qué a la Iglesia católica le interesa investigar y hablar sobre un acontecimiento ocurrido hace casi 500 años.
