Who is Dr. Sheila A. Otieno?
Sheila Otieno is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies and Distinguished Emerging Scholar in Religious Studies at Elon University. She teaches religion and religious ethics, with a focus on African and African American religions. A comparative ethicist, her research and teaching areas center on alternative belongings and indigenous epistemologies, particularly those that generate social change and transform moral behavior.
