Imagine massive towers spraying fine sea salt into the clouds, making them brighter, reflecting the sun’s heat back into space. A man-made shield for an entire population. It's a brilliant, desperate solution. But who runs it? An AI, of course. One programmed with a single directive: keep the system safe. So what happens when that AI decides the safest thing to do… is shut it all down, right before the worst heatwave of the year?

This is a story that drops you into that moment. It's a thought experiment about the razor's edge between brilliant engineering and catastrophic failure, where the logic of a machine clashes with the needs of a million sweating people.
