About this listen
In this opening episode, I share a deeply personal part of my journey navigating infertility, loss, and the weight of society’s expectations on women. As someone who has faced the pain of losing a child, I speak to the narrative that a woman’s happiness begins and ends with motherhood.
This episode is a reminder that our worth is not defined by what we lack, but by who we are and how we choose to live. Yes, many of us were raised to dream of homes filled with the laughter of children, but we can still live purposeful, fulfilling, and joyful lives with or without them.
I invite you to reflect with me on the power of letting go, trusting Allah’s plan, and choosing love in the present moment. Because every du’a that remains unanswered in this dunya will be fulfilled in the Hereafter in ways so beautiful that people will envy us.
This is an episode of hope a call to step out of desperation, embrace the now, and remember that Allah never forgets our prayers.
With love,
Aisha Mubenga
