Daniel Weber (36) stammt aus Neustift im Stubaital und wurde nach 7 Jahren Pause als erster Tiroler zum Priester geweiht. Der Stubaier hätte sich als Jugendlicher nicht erwartet, dass er den Weg ins Priesteramt wählt. Erst nach der Matura und im Laufe eines Studiums der Politikwissenschaft und Philosophie hat sich langsam sein Weg abgezeichnet. Daniel Weber wird trotz Priestermangel nicht in seiner Heimat tätig sein - der Jesuitenorden, der einen stark intellektuellen Schwerpunkt hat, setzt seine Mitglieder weltweit ein. Daniel Weber wird in nächster Zeit in Brüssel ein Studium machen und dort pastorale Aufgaben übernehmen.
