About this listen

In this episode of the Quality of Life podcast, host Anneke shares her personal struggles with bureaucratic challenges and the overwhelming impact they have had on her life since April 2022. Through her "Tedious Road to Victory" series, she candidly discusses her battles with big corporations, including issues with her energy supplier, council tax, and a Dutch savings account, all of which have contributed to a significant emotional toll. Anneke emphasizes the importance of recognizing that many others are facing similar frustrations, highlighting the staggering number of data requests made to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office each week. As she navigates her own legal battles and reflects on her experiences as a therapist, she offers listeners a sense of solidarity and encouragement, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles.
