About this listen

In this episode of Quality of Life Quest, Anneke passionately shares her ongoing battle against the bureaucratic challenges posed by Scottish Power, her energy supplier. With a strong disdain for bullies and injustice, she recounts her frustrating journey since moving into her home in April 2022, where her attempts to open an account have been met with resistance and delays. Anneke details her efforts to obtain her personal data through a Subject Access Request (SAR), emphasizing her preference for receiving this information on paper rather than through overwhelming digital links. Throughout the episode, she reflects on the emotional toll of her struggles, including a four-month absence from work due to the stress of dealing with multiple bureaucratic issues.
