In questa puntata raccontiamo le vicende del pittore olandese Han Van Meegeren che negli anni tra le due guerre fu l'autore di uno dei più spettacolari casi di falsificazione della storia. Talentuoso ma non apprezzato dai contemporanei, riuscì a realizzare dei falsi Veermer e a venderli ai più prestigiosi musei olandesi prendendosi gioco di critici, esperti, galleristi, gerarchi nazisti e più in generale di tutto il sistema dell'arte mondiale tra le due guerre.
