 イギリス人のチューバ奏者、ギデオン・ジュークスとバリトン・サックスの竹内理恵による超低音ユニット「MUSIC for ISOLATION」はコロナ禍の中、孤立した人々に静かに寄り添う音楽を目指して結成されました。コロナ禍が落ち着き、都市が喧騒を取り戻す中、彼らが向かったのはノルウェーの北極圏にあるスヴァールバル諸島。白夜の夏に2週間滞在し、土地の自然と向き合いながら音楽を作りました。風や海、鳥、砂利道を走る車、ディーゼル発電機にまで耳をすまし、裸の地球と響きあう音楽を奏でます。10月3日にリリースされるアルバム『スヴァールバル』をいち早くご紹介、スタジオでの生演奏もお楽しみください。 Learn more about your ad choices.
