About this listen

April 28th 1992. After 24-year-old Christopher McCandless graduated college, he decided to reject his wealthy upbringing, society and expectation. After burning his social security card and donating all his money to charity, he wandered through the desert in Arizona and California before venturing alone into the Alaskan wilderness. He spent his days chasing a freedom few understand. Months later, he is found deceased in an abandoned bus weighing 67 lb, leaving behind questions about the price of living entirely on your own terms.
