About this listen
The Angola Horror is one of the nation’s most brutal and horrific train disasters of the 1800s. The Buffalo newspaper at the time stated, “The name Angola is, and will forever be, associated with the most fearful railway slaughter on record.” It wasn’t wrong. Some have forgotten about the incident or never learned about it. However, those who know will never forget the brutality of the event.
PLEASE follow, share, comment, and rate the show so I can improve the listener experience. Any questions asked will be answered expeditiously.
Be advised: This event recalls direct quotes from newspaper articles that give a very graphic image. It may not be suited for younger listeners.
