Join host Dale Dawson on this special episode of the Vocation Voices podcast as he sits down with Austin Faur, a Raleigh native, to discuss his remarkable journey to finding his vocation.

Austin shares his story of growing up in Raleigh, surrounded by strong faith communities at his home parish and Catholic high school. These early influences provided him with solid examples of a life lived in faith. As a typical high school senior, his focus was on college and sports, but a single invitation to a retreat unexpectedly put him on a path to discerning the priesthood.

After four years in the seminary, Austin’s journey took another turn. Following a new retreat experience, he decided to leave the seminary and return to Raleigh, where he began teaching theology. It was an encounter with one of his own students that presented a challenge that would change his life: a commitment to spend one hour a week in adoration.

Don't miss this captivating episode as Austin shares how this simple practice profoundly impacted his life and helped him find his true calling.
