About this listen
In this episode I chat to Ryan Kenneally, a former student of Gaelcholáiste Carraig Uí Leighin who completed his Leaving Cert in 2025. Leaving Cert History students are required to complete a Research Study Report (RSR). Ryan decided to do his project on the Cork Harbour Soviet in 1921, inspired by his family connection to the event.
Whether it’s uncovering folklore rooted in the landscape or highlighting community museums and heritage society projects, Cork Chronicles captures the voices and places that make County Cork’s heritage special.
